North Star have a long history in construction; it’s what we started in. This experience and knowledge have been used and applied in the utility sector for assisting clients with planned and responsive building works to their diverse property and asset base. We carry out major works to fixed property assets such as substations, through to responsive emergency works on the network.

We are fully conversant with the challenges and requirements of working on live networks and all our teams are H100 authorised and are all able to accept Limitation of Access’s (L of A’s) to access and work in substation compounds within the Electricity North West distribution areas. We take this responsibility to our client’s assets, our workforce and the wider public welfare very seriously and always comply with the necessary authorisations and health and safety measures.
