Investing in the Future

North Star understand the importance and value of investing in the future and what better way to do this than by investing in home grown talent through apprenticeship schemes. With this in mind we have taken on two new local apprentices who are both being trained in their respective trades though local college training schemes as well as gaining valuable site experience by working with our skilled and dedicated workforce at the same time. Callum Hindle is doing his Plant Apprenticeship at Preston College and Joe Kelly has chosen an alternative career path and is training to be a Shuttering Joiner. Both Callum and Joe will both be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in the next 18 months.
